the music on Fabio Pastell is a collection of sounds, techniques, ideas, instruments, that were occupying my brain at the time of recording. These tracks are of me documenting many of these things side by side / on top of each other. Some of these instruments/devices i haven't really pursued for a while (eg. pvc trombone with kazoo) so they appear here in a way like a kind of audio museum. or another analogy would be like an old tube of colour paint that you might rediscover for your next painting - just wack it on !
THis album was originally released on Dale Gorfinkel's OutHear bandcamp in 2018. i've included it here as it is probably the seed of future music appearing on 8T&F. It was recorded on an 8track cassette recorder, and much of it in the field at Tempe Jets (now a dog park) - hence the name 8trackandfield.
